Digitavia Attend NEC Showcase 2014

Digitavia Attend NEC Showcase 2014

by Darren Pitt on May 12, 2014

Must-attend AV and Digital Signage event of the year!

Message from organizators:

Why should you attend? What’s unique about the NEC Solutions Showcase?

This is not a trade show, there are no individual vendor stands. Instead we ask the leading solutions providers in the industry to collaborate to create fully integrated end-to-end solutions within real-life scenarios to educate and inspire.

Most businesses have made some investment in displays or projection. The Showcase aims to show how this market is maturing and how new technology can help with customer engagement, collaboration, audience analysis and creating a more relevant and personal experience.

Our Solutions team and Partners have gone the extra mile this year to create over 100 truly inspiring solutions. Partners include AMX, Scala, Future Software, Omnivision, Extron, Crestron, Dexon, Displaylite, U-Touch, Hiperwall, Matrox, Intevi, Peerless, SMS, Cabletime, Intel and many more.

Nine interactive zones introduce you to the latest technology across a number of vertical markets –  Vertical sectors include Retail, Digital out of Home, Education, Transport, Emergency Services, Media, Leisure, Innovations and Corporate Communications.

New for 2014, the Showcase will run over two days allowing additional time to network, to develop existing and find new business contacts.

 What’s new from NEC?

With over 27 years’ experience manufacturing commercial displays we know a thing or two about digital media.

We are excited to launch our new Android player to complete our range of OPS slot in PC’s. Less cables, less power and less service-  for truly flexible digital signage.

Within the vertical zones we concentrate on key new technology trends for 2014. 4K is a key theme in all areas and we will show our 4K capable projectors, desktops and new 84 and 98″ Public displays.

We are also VERY excited about a whole new range of video wall products including a 55″  ultra-narrow display featuring a unique new NEC feature of syncing images for unbeatable dynamic video playback.

An experiential event, the Showcase offers the visitor something unique. Part of this experience comes from the venue itself and this year we are delighted to welcome you to The Velodrome in the London Olympic Park, with memories of the glorious 2012 games.

Inspired by the venue, you will have the opportunity to follow in the cycle tread of our multiple Olympic medal winning cycling heroes.”

Looking forward to attend and to update you with what’s new and trendy in technology world today.
